Healing for Optimal Health Workshop Jan 12 2010

We always hold complimentary workshops and trainings to our member to enhance their practice. Last month, we held a Healing Workshop for our members to experience energy healing through partner exercise. They firstly warmed up their body through various stretching exercises. Then they senses energy with their partner and progressed to energy healing the abdominal areas.  We have our vital organs in our abdominal areas which also housed our second Chakra – our Dahnjon( or Dandian in Chinese).  Most of our members felt asleep during the healing. Some even recovered from their stomachache and shoulder pain which they had before the session. Here are some pictures.

Our Tai Chi Performance at Radio City Music Hall

It was an amazing experience to performance Chun Bu Shin Gong (Tai Chi) in Radio City Hall a few weeks ago.   We practiced separately in different states and could only practice once or twice together before the performance. But we were all gradually connected by energy. The repeating rehearsal practice  gradually tranformed my body and mind. I felt oneness with my fellow performers as well as with the universe. My whole being became one. I felt unspeakable calmness and peace during the performance and practice.  81 of us represented the 81 words of Chun Bu Kyung, an ancient scripture which detailed the journey of a human soul.

I don’t know who shoot the video. It gradually zoomed in to where I stood – Amazing!

Please enjoy our performance and the intro by the MC.

Healing Tai Chi to Calm Our Mind

We practice a form of Healing Tai Chi which is called Dahn Mu Do.  Dahn means pure energy. Mu is limitless. Do is the practice and way.  It is a non combat form of Martial arts.  We focus on breathing and feeling Qi/Ki inside our body.   With that we can go deeper inside and connect our body and mind.  It is also a form of moving meditation.  We calm our mind by staying in the present, staying with our body and watch our emotion.   Certainly the form is important.  But it is even more important to practice with an open heart and let pure energy flow through our body. With continual practice, we can achieve phyical vitality, happiness and spiritual grow. Enjoy a beautiful demonstration below for a form of Dahn Mu Do – Chun Mu Shin Gong.
